Application preparation
Build your medical device sales application file
Use the Career Field Guide to connect a role brief, verified achievements, resume and outreach notes in one practical sequence.
This preparation route uses the Career Field Guide and its editable companions. It is for candidates who need to turn relevant experience into a coherent application. “Application kit” describes how to use the book; it is not a separate product or a promise of additional files.
One candidate, one consistent account
In the fictional Maya case, the role brief identifies account coordination as relevant work. The evidence inventory separates Maya's commercial responsibility from operations' implementation work. The resume uses that same distinction, and the outreach note asks a focused question about the target role's support responsibilities.
The useful result is consistency. Maya does not claim one level of ownership in her resume and a different one in an interview.
The sequence
- Read the current posting and complete the role brief.
- Verify three achievements, including period, scope and ownership.
- Draft the resume using the most relevant evidence.
- Write a short transition explanation and focused outreach note.
- Save the submitted version in the application tracker.
The companion package includes role-brief, evidence-inventory, application-tracker, offer-question and six-week-plan CSVs. They can be edited in spreadsheet software and contain no macros.

The guide supports your own drafting. Personalized feedback is a separate written resume review, and neither offer promises interviews or employment. If you only need a first step, use the free evidence worksheet.
